The cutest beer flight :D From front to back: honey ginger lime, sang noir, apricot, and kriek. This was my first time trying sour beers, and I think I find them more tolerable than I do other beers (IPA’s being the prime evil of them all). Even though I don’t normally like beer, I still loved Portland and its zillion breweries. It really is a beer lover’s paradise. However, I think I will stick with their wide selection of ciders next time.

After a disgustingly long lag time on my part, here are photos from the trip I took to Portland and Seattle at the beginning of August! Here is a box of the infamous Voodoo Doughnuts, complete with the maple bacon bar and the cock and balls (you can see the tip at the bottom center). Above average doughnuts but not worth the one hour wait in the sweltering heat. I hear Blue Star Donuts is better? Photo by S.
My beautiful roommate and I picnicking before the Phantogram concert at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. We gorged ourselves on Trader Joe’s fare (pita chips, Spanish cheese sampler, bruschetta sauce, cookie butter….you get the idea…delicious food only pls) before dancing and bellowing along to music that was just so on point. I have to say I got emotional during the performance of “Bill Murray”. One of my top 5 concert experiences!
